Fighting for the faith

I was raised Roman Catholic, but at 55, I began to question whether the Roman Catholic Church was “The One True Church,” as it claims. I delved into the history of the apostles’ faith after Jesus’ ascension to find the answer, and what I discovered went against much of what I had believed. This led me to leave the Roman Catholic Church after years of research.

As a Christian who believes in the inerrancy of the Bible and its sufficiency for salvation, I have come to some conclusions about Catholicism that differ from the Church’s teachings. I believe that the earth is approximately 6,000 years old, that praying to Mary is an abomination to God and Satan’s greatest deception, and that the pope is merely a fallible man. Additionally, I believe that Roman Catholic Churches are full of idols, that sacraments do not earn favor with God and are not necessary for salvation, and that salvation comes by faith alone, not works. Works are the result of being saved, and Israel is still God’s chosen people; the Church has not replaced her. While many Roman Catholics are sincere and good people, they are in danger of losing eternal salvation.

I have spent years searching for the truth about God, reading books by atheists, engaging in discussions with Christians and non-Christians alike, watching videos, and listening to debates. My thirst for God drives me to pursue Him in every way I can.

If you’re a Christian searching for the truth, you should know that there is a wealth of information available, but you’ll have to wade through a lot of junk to find it. I aim to save you time by posting valuable resources on this website to help in your walk of faith. Most of the videos posted can be listened to without viewing, allowing you to multitask while absorbing the message.

Audio-based learning is an excellent way to make the most of your time, so consider searching for websites that sell audio books, such as audible.com. However, please note that due to the subject matter, some YouTube videos may be flagged and removed. If you find a missing video, please report it to me at cek@me.com.
